July Yoga Life Festival~Guru Purnima

  • Sat Manav Yoga Ashram Rand Rd Industry, ME, 04938 United States (map)

Celebrate one of the oldest philosophies of life! Our July Yoga Life Festival honors Guru Purnima, a festival dedicated to honoring all Gurus and spiritual teachers. Guru Purnima is an auspicious occasion to pay remembrance to our teachers. ‘Gu’ means darkness and ‘ru’ signifies the elimination of darkness. A Guru is one who helps us to remove the darkness within, unveiling the light all human beings possess.

Each festival at Sat Manav Yoga Ashram is a rare opportunity and offering to the public to step out of daily life and travel back in time to a pure Yoga community reminiscent of ancient India. A day of inspiring intensives, illuminating discourse, uplifting ceremony, incredible food and live music...all in an idyllic mountain setting!

The highlight of our Guru Purnima Festival is the afternoon discourse and empowerment given by Sri Bhagavan and Sri Mirabai, Gurus' of Sat Manav Yoga Ashram. Full of powerful insight, colorful analogies and irrefutable logic, this discourse on the intention of Yoga lays out the missing ingredients in our modern view, shedding vast light on the meaning of life and the direction we should be looking to.

Sri Bhagavan and Sri Mirabai are full time practitioners, dedicating their whole lives to the highest attainments of Yoga, for the benefit of all beings. They only give public teachings 4 times a year! Don't miss this rare and precious opportunity!
